How to Get a Clear Exterior-Cleaning Estimate

What to send before a window-cleaning, house-washing or gutter-cleaning quote, and what to check before accepting.

A good estimate answers three questions: what is included, what will it cost, and what happens next? A few useful details help the team recommend the right scope instead of guessing from a house photo.

Send the essentials once

Provide the address, services you want, timing and best callback window. Describe access issues such as locked gates, steep slopes or restricted parking. Ground-level photos of the relevant elevations help; do not climb a ladder to take them.

Compare the same scope

Window quotes should distinguish glass, screens and tracks, as well as inside versus outside. Washing quotes should identify the surfaces and any exclusions. Gutter cleaning and gutter repair are different services. Ask for optional work as separate line items so you can make a deliberate choice.

Agree on the next step

Tell the team whether you are ready to schedule, gathering prices or planning for later. If another person must approve the work, choose a review time that works for both of you. A specific callback is more useful than repeated missed calls.

Keep the estimate easy to act on

Check the written price, scope, weather policy, access arrangements and payment terms. If something is unclear, ask before booking. Pure Blue can review the request remotely or determine whether an on-site assessment is appropriate. Availability is confirmed individually.
